DRYER VENTS
When it comes to dryer vents we typically have no issues replacing, cleaning, and inspecting. Of course there are some limitations to what we can do as dryer vents can go from short and sweet to complicated and messy real fast. Some homes have a straight simple shot vent while others seem to have taken a more artistic approach to the idea. We have both small handheld cameras and brushes to clean out most issues. If the vent is suffering from a catastrophic bad design we'll still look it over but most likely recommend further inspection from someone else.

SLOW DRYING
If your clothes seem to have slowly started drying slower and theres more moisture in the room we recommend performing a paper test. Simple remove your dryer filter and run the dryer at the same time with a piece of paper over it. If you find the paper being pulled and held in place you most likely have decent outward pressure. If you still have issues with drying feel free to give Cunningham Appliances a call.
NOISE
If you're noticing some strange noises emanating from your dryer theres a few quick potential fixes. A lot of the time it's as simple as the dryer being uneven or rubbing up against something. Whether it be a hanger that got stuck between the washer and dryer or just a long forgotten penny make sure to inspect the area around the dryer.
As strange as it might seem the vent could also be a source of noise issue. If the vent isn't attached or has a hole in it you may notice a larger ambient noise coming from the unit. If it can't press the moist air outside then it'll shoot into the open space creating a large amount of wind noise.
